Extract from “A Life of Unlearning – a preacher’s struggle with his homosexuality, church and faith” Chapter 18: Evolution

When I’d dropped Jason at Central Station at the end of Easter weekend 1994, I meant it when I said, “I never want to see you again”. Visiting his graveside, several years later, I didn’t expect this to happen. What was even more surprising was how raw the emotion was reading this 20 years after the event.
